Vegan Quinoa Taco Salad

Vegan Quinoa Taco Salad

How sexy does this meal look to you?

I almost cried tears of joy with every bite because it was the first vegan comfort food that I’ve had after this 22 day vegan god ki ambrosia feast. For those that want to find out the ingredients and vegan restaurant this came from then click here to locate the title quinoa taco under the salad section.

The woman at the register taking my order took notice of my astrology hoodie sweater and was trying to guess my zodiac sign. It’s funny because when people meet you for the first time and guess your zodiac sign from the impression they’re getting is really your rising sign and not your sun sign. But, they think they’re guessing the sun sign lol. Her guest was Leo, Pisces, or Aquarius.

The answer is Sagittarius is my rising sign, however I do have Neptune and Uranus both in the first house which shared those two signs’ energy but because they’re in the first house is why she got that impression. The Leo vibe that she sensed probably came from me having the first house ruler in the fifth house which means that even though I have no planets in Leo I’ll have Leo attributes because of that fifth house energy.

Do you see how astrology and vegan food mix? LOL

Why Eating Raw Vegan Is Life

Why Eating Raw Vegan Is Life

Do you remember the feeling you had as a child after playing with your friends and finished eating your favorite candy?

I think that’s the best way to express how one would feel after consistently eating fruits and herbs for at least seven days straight. It’s like this level of reaching spiritual bliss if one can even call it that. At the current moment it’s day 19 on this 22 day vegan God ki, however by the time you read this the adventure will be over. If you have the discipline to do something like this then more power to you but that’s out of your own free will because it takes a real strong discipline to go through the and urging effects that come along with this nonetheless.

When one embarks on the vegan lifestyle how you can choose to eat. You can eat a lot of vegan junk-food such as brownies, cakes, chips, pizza, burgers, and etc. Or, you can eat primarily plant based and have all of your foods come from the veggies, grains, seeds, nuts, fruits and lagoons which can be eaten in three different ways. You can eat them raw, cooked, or both. If you’re wondering which is best to eat then no that the answer is what you ultimately choose because your body and you know what’s best. However, you are reading this because there’s a question that you wanted to be answered.

Why is eating raw vegan life?

The true question should be asked if you were trapped on a desert island with no way of creating fire, then would you be able to live and thrive on there. Let’s not forget to add the island has natural plant foods that are edible to eat. This is not to say that cooked foods or processed foods should never be eaten but the feeling you get from eating raw vegan is quite awesome. Of course that’s my personal opinion. The energy, brain function, bowel movements, happiness level, sex drive, and etc. really become maximized over time eating raw. For those with experience transitioning from a consistent raw lifestyle to cook foods can agree that the energy diminishes on a noticeable level. If that’s not confirmation that we really should be sticking to the raw in the proper environment, then I don’t know what is.

If you’re someone that complains how they have no energy, wakes up groggy, or exhausted before sleep and you have the vegan lifestyle, then maybe it’s time to check what you’re consuming daily. Just because you’re vegan doesn’t mean that you help is on the right track. You could be drinking coffee, which is set to be a stimulant does it mean is give you the proper energy that you eat. Those vegan bagels, croissants, oatmeal, or etc. may not be the proper solution. One thing that’s worked for me was eating only fruits or breakfast which gives me the natural nutrients and energy the body requires and helps proper circulation. That’s even when I’m not doing the fruit feast. Switching to juicing, smoothies, or whole foods for breakfast may give you that jump of energy that you and your body deserve. There’s nothing better or more fun than feeling like you’re the flash from the DC comic book just having this increased sense of awareness and moving our understanding thing at a faster level because simply eating fruits or fasting until new. That’s another story though.

The bowel movements have been simply amazing. You ever sat down, which the best way to poop is really to squat to release all of what’s supposed to come out, then felt like everything came out peacefully? I never knew how awesome doing number two in the bathroom would feel until eating only raw. Not to mention how when you go to wipe yourself how nothing or barely anything gets on the tissue because it’s so pure. I do question how so much come out of oneself from could only eating fruits and herbs, but it makes sense that you’re cleansing the body of all the foreign things that shouldn’t be inside so it makes sense.

My brain function seems to pick up on a lot of information with more clarity. For example, when I’m learning business information to improve and add on to the current businesses that I’m either working on or developing, it’s like pieces of the puzzle just blow at a quicker rate than it did before. It’s like a blessing in disguise which helps with dealing with potential customers as well and communicating effectively.

We won’t get into the teenage like sex drive that seems to occur for me every time I eat raw vegan LOL. However, I will say that it’s a great discipline to practice when not succumbing to the desire for sex which helps to transmute that energy into productive activities Zen-like or happy feeling that exudes throughout my entire energy field. It pays to eat foods that come from nature in its raw form because you combined with that particular energy and it really up lists everything about you on a holistic level. This is until you may go through minor healing crisis symptoms which can range from fatigue, common cold, rashes, headaches, and etc. everyone will have their own version of what it will occur with them.

If you had a raw vegan experience on your path in life, then be so kind to share below so others can know from your experience why the raw vegan way of eating is life. Another thing to remember is that location more than likely matters how much you be able to benefit from this way of eating.

Raw Fruit & Herb Soup

Raw Fruit & Herb Soup

The other day while still on this 22 day vegan god ki ambrosia feast I was thinking of what to make with the fruits and herbs that were available. Next thing you know, the idea of raw vegan soup came into mind which is what you see here.

You’re probably wondering what the heck is in here and how is soup made out of fruits possible. It’s simple if you have a cook background while being in the Navy. So a brother took his chef background to chef up.

What you see is simple and tasted like if heaven had a flavor LOL. All I did was add one squeezed lemon juice, cucumber, squash, avocado, and spices in the blender with water. After putting it all in the bowl added zucchini noodles and cherry tomatoes. That is the story of how I ascended in love 🙂

Enjoy the view.

Is Connecting With Vegans Online Worth It?

Is Connecting With Vegans Online Worth It?

It is funny to say this to you, but I don’t think I should. Okay, I’ll tell you anyway. There was a challenge with my laptop and had to make sure that I saved the information before closing out the word document. For some odd reason the blog post that was originally written for this didn’t save and literally starting from scratch at the moment. Most people would be upset or disturbed with their entire work being erased from existence, however I will play this crystal singing bowl and start from scratch. LOL.

If you’re a new vegan and in person it seems like there’s no other like-minded vegan people to connect with, then chances are you’ll look online for them. That wasn’t the case for me initially. When you’re a loner by nature, you appreciate the solitude and love the ability to have the free will to share your energy with the select few. However, it got to a point with me where I wanted to connect with other vegans at least by online means. Friendly reminder, a couple of ways for you to connect with vegans in person are going to local Vegfests, vegan restaurants, meet up events specifically for vegans, or ask yourself if you were vegan then where would you be.

At this point in your life you probably realize that online is the most preferred method because you can connect with people from not only your area but worldwide. One of the most popular ways you can find other vegans easily is by Facebook groups, specifically tailored toward vegans. When I discovered this I was like a kid in a candy store like OMG vegans everywhere that loves to share their food pictures, have discussions on a variety of vegan topics, see what their reasons for going vegan are, and etc. This is how it was possible for me to go from hundreds of Facebook connections to almost 5000 friends on that platform. In order to do grow your connection like that when you join multiple Facebook groups find the infamous vegan friend bombs and you’ll be able to add a whole bunch across the globe. But there’s a question you’re probably asking yourself.

Is it worth it?

The answer for this question is it depends. From personal experience, it seemed in the beginning that connecting with vegans in some shape or form was awesome. But is it a true connection? It’s kind of like how you may think you have a friend or acquaintance but the person could be in your life to have you as a resource. Not to say that’s what most vegans online are like, however that was just an example. After I connected with so many people with the lifestyle online, then the following step is communicating with them. The funny part about that is you’ll notice there being more females than males with this lifestyle. So fellas, don’t be surprised if some of them think that you’re hitting on them. Of course there’s a story for that. For some reason a particular female must have thought I was trying to get something because she informed her boyfriend that I was communicating with her. He in turn hit me up saying stop talking to his girlfriend and this that and the third. So a brother made the wise decision, I simply blocked them both because it appeared it may have been a miscommunication. Although I’m a fan of beauty, it’s completely disrespectful to try to develop a romantic or sexual relationship with somebody already involved and a relationship that’s not single. What goes around comes around so if I don’t want that to happen to me, then obviously shouldn’t to do it to others.

You also have to be on the lookout for certain vegans that are connecting with you to expose a product or service whether that be directly or indirectly. If you check their Facebook wall then you will pretty much get an idea of what I’m referring to. Don’t be surprised if you also find others to connect with online that’s in your local area. If the vibe is right and it seems like somebody that you actually want to develop a real life relationship, then do you. You need to go good or bad but time will tell. Here in New York City, majority of the vegans I met were female. One woman thought that a different type of relationship was in the works, however a word from the wise you should always be up front with people on the relationship you plan to have instead of making them believe what they want to. It’ll save you a headache later or one less person to further communicate with because of weird vibes.

Overtime, you’ll also realize that just because someone is vegan doesn’t mean that you will be the closest of friends. There are many aspects to being a spiritual being having a human experience besides the food they eat. It took a brother awhile to realize that. It’s cool to be connected however it’s important to have a connection. Whatever you do will be up to you in order to learn your lessons and experience the different ways of how to surround yourself with the vegan tribe online. This is one of the reasons why I’m in development of creating a way new vegans can connect with each other at potentially a similar mindset. It’s still important that you really understand that the community online. You’ll see some that are really gung ho preaching the message, animal right activists to the extreme, vegan judges, or angry vegans. On the bright side is you’ll find peaceful, loving, open, and awesome vegans that connecting with is a true blessing. I’m so grateful for the ones I found because we call complete each other 🙂

What’s your input on if it’s worth it connecting with other vegans online?

Eat fruits and stay true to you.
